Gapminder

I watched a TED Talks video from Hans Rosling recently.  He is a global health professor who has created graphing software that displays data in ways I never imagined.

You have to take a look, because my words won’t do it justice.  Watch the TED video and check out the website Gapminder.org (click Gapminder World to interact with the world data).

Google has acquired the software and has released a Google Gadget called Motion Chart that will allow you to create a gapminder-like graph from your own time series and place it on your webpage/blog.

Amazing.
